Silver Fan Earrings Workshop - Saturday 28th March, 10.00am, Mornington
Make a pair of silver fan earrings with Swarovski Pearls and Crystals - perfect for brides and bridesmaids
In this class you will sand and polish some cast sterling silver fans, learn to solder earring posts, create silver headpins, make dangles with pearls and crystals and then assemble everything to make your own pair of silver fan earrings. There are only three places available however if you would like to do this class with a larger group of friends/family or a bridal party then let me know and I can accommodate you.
You don't need any prior experience, I will take you step by step through the tools you will use and guide you while you sand, solder and polish the fans, make the silver findings and assemble your earrings. If you would like to use a certain colour crystal then please let me know in advance.
Complete beginners are welcome (in fact they are encouraged!) and the session will run for two hours to allow you time to complete and then polish your work. Please wear comfortable clothes (preferably ones you don't mind getting dirty) and closed toe shoes. If you want to bring an apron you are most welcome to do so.
I will provide tea, coffee and water and some bickies as well as all safety equipment, tools and sterling silver.
